Once upon a time, two young songwriters from Long Island, New York, Greg Mesniaeff and Doug Martines wrote this song and many others to be performed by The Toby Lynn Band which later became The Works. (Toby Lynn being the stage name Doug took on while fronting the band).
The band performed in many NY venues including the famed CBGB’S seen in the attached picture and went on to achieve limited success in the illusive NY music scene.
Now, forty years later, the original band is back to record one of their popular songs, Draw The Line
